I live in one of the diy music spaces in Athens, Ohio. We hold shows for local and out of town acts about once or twice every two weeks. The out of town acts are usually smaller indie or folk groups traveling across the country on tour. My roomate Tim began recording these shows in the fall and when I was assigned to create a blog for a class winter quarter I knew this was the perfect opportunity. For the class I developed the blog in Drupal, but afterwords I decided to transfer it to Tumblr so that the people I'm already following and rebloging with my personal Tumblr account could follow whats going on at our house.

Description:
Robert is a professional photographer living and working in NYC. I had the opportunity to work on this site for him during winter quarter 2010 for Becky Sell's AS3 class. It showcases some of the work he has done in Cuba.

Description:
Electronic Vision is a local Athens multimedia design agency. While interning for them last summer I designed a new portfolio site for their work. I implimented their logo as well as some of the slogans they run their company by in this initial mock-up.

Soul of Athens 2009

Description:
The School of Visual Communications at Ohio University has produced a multimedia piece every spring for the past 4 years called Soul of Athens. For the past 3 years I've been on the design team. In last year's rendition I helped in designing the front door and inside pages. I also created a motion piece for the end of every video.

Kennedy Museum of Art Site

Description:
For the past 2 years I've been a student intern for the Kennedy Museum of Art. The museum is located at The Ridges, a part of Ohio's campus known for its haunted past as a mental health institution. As the multimedia design intern I designed and developed an new online experience for the museum. The site features a list of the current exhibitions, educational resources, and a virtual tour.

The Last Dance Film Site
Client: Keith Newmann
Description:
I designed and developed this site over the summer of 2009 for teacher and producer Keith Newmann of Ohio's School of Media Arts and Studies. Keith created this documentary on local sculpture artist David Hostetler and needed a site to send to film festivals and perspective investors.

Viscom Prospective Student Guide

Description:
I designed and developed this site in my very first Flash class with my teacher and advisor Sam Girton. After going to my high school to speak to seniors about the viscom program at Ohio I realized the college needed a site to explain how to apply and what each specialization does. This is the product of that realization
